Advice for those interested in links to Christian web sites from David Fifefield
I know of a number of people who would like to get Christian teaching or a service in English as there does not appear to be anything available "live" in the area. I have found several sites that may be of interest and worth accessing and which could be the sort of thing people are looking for. Sites are as follows:
www.universalchristianradio.com Access their site at 7.30pm on a Wednesday and you can hear Maurice Payne, a Midlands preacher. Click on one of the "listen now" options.
www.ihrbc.org.uk and click on "sermons" these are from a lively Baptist church in Essex (East London) and are updated each week.
www.ampthillbaptist.org.uk Scroll down until you reach "recent sermons" and click to see available list. ABC is a small town church in Bedfordshire with a lively atmosphere.
I will advise you of any more that I may find as I find them. David Fifield

Thoughts from Bulgaria and beyond - Blog by Hugh Hunt This is a link to my own blog site which I have been running for the past two years covering our overland move here from Menorca, how we got on settling in and getting used to the Bulgarian way of life. It now has over 120 articles which more recently cover all aspects of life here and well beyond, which I try to keep as humorous and entertaining as possible.
My Trips To Bulgaria 2006 too 2010 by Bernadette Landy-Lovatt This gentle account of Bernadette's journeys to Bulgaria between 2006 and 2010 to find her dream home shines an interesting light of the changes which took place here in Bulgaria over just five years.

How Greece Got Where It Is Unfortunately I have no idea who wrote this article, and as an obvious resident in the Athens area or frequent visitor to the city they would possibly rather stay antonymous. Whilst I can offer no comment on the accuracy of the figures quoted I think the profligacy of the Greek people and Government over past years is well documented. After reading this it is probably very hard to feel any sympathy with those Greeks who are now refusing to accept their past failings and move towards re-paying their enormous debts.
